It’s just the beginning

Time flies really fast. I’ve completed my first year in Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Tourism in Sept and I’m halfway through my 1st semester of 2nd year.  And I got to choose either to go for Hotel Management or Culinary & F&B Management.  I’ve decided to opt for the second option.

So, now I’m in my first semester of the 2nd year.  Things are getting tougher as usual but INTERESTING.  First of all, not many of my friends decided to go for this option, most of them chosen Hotel Management which mostly consists of theoretical subjects meanwhile the option I’ve chosen more to practical, where I get to spend most of my time doing practicals in Kitchen and Restaurant.  Bad thing bout this is,  I get lesser time to meet up with my other close friends that I used to hang out with everyday as we are no longer having classes together.  Good thing Ayuni is taking the same option as me. hahaha!! If not, I barely know my new groupmates in the class, some I even never met before for the last 3 terms!! OMG!! hahaha

I’m glad that everything is going smoothly and I’ve gone one step further to achieve my goal, to be a CHEF!! lol well, it’s still long way to go and there are many things yet to be discovered.  I’ll be having my internship in January till June (6 months).  I’ve decided to go to Langkawi for my training, but I have yet to receive reply from the hotel. My choices are:

1. The Datai Langkawi
2. Resorts World (Genting Resorts)
3. Swiss Garden
4. Prince Hotel & Residences, and
5. Sunway Resort Seberang Jaya, Penang

First semester into the 2nd year is not easy.  We have classes from morning as early as 8am to 5pm, which is VERY TIRING!! Subjects are more to management like Purchase & Supply, Macroeconomics, Sales & Marketing and Business Management. However, the interesting part of all is we will be forming a group to run a business of our own after the training.  For now, we just gona focus on the business plan and stuff.

Hope that everything will be fine like I wanted it to be.  So far, I’m happy with what I’m doing now, so no regrets!!

Bedtime death

Last nite as i wanted to go to sleep, i received lots of comments in facebook from fida and firas. THey are both funny dudes!! hehehe

Then, around 2.30am i went to sleep.  I had a weirdest dream, which i can hardly remember.  Suddenly, i had this terrible cough.  Its not like a sore throat kinda cough.  It feels like im coughing my lungs out.  I can barely breathe.  I jumped out of bed n just sit there doing nothing, then i reached for a bottle of water beside my bed and drank it. Feeling better, i tried to get back to sleep.  Then, i started coughing like hell again. This time i really can’t breathe. I turn here and there, trying to let go from watever is trying to stop me from breathing, but i cant.  I continued coughing.  I was asleep at that time, and I had this dream, some one took me to a Chinese Drug Store. At the same time, i tried to stop coughing, coz it was really hurt.  Its like my lungs gona explode.  I kept on asking myself is it because I smoke too much? or is it too much alcholic drink? then, i wonder, what if i die in my sleep? when that question came into my mind, all i think about is her. I told myself that if i am to die now, i am ready to let God take my life away, also i have to let her know that i really like her. But how? i was lying on my bed, half dead and my other housemates were asleep. If only i can wake them up and tell them to let her know about my feelings. But i cant. The cough lasted for the whole night.  Its the most suffering moment ever. I can even see my death right in front of my eyes, then i had a flash of memories i had with my friends.

And today, i got up in the morning, phone call from renita. I m happy that im still here, lying on my bed. And i answered the phone, bad news. Hope she’s ok. Then, i prepared my self for church. I thank GOd for letting me live, yet another day.

Merdeka 31/08/08

THE greatest merdeka day celebration ever!

On Friday, i rented a car, Proton Waja for 5 days, which costs me RM480!! Well, me, the twins (Firas and Fida), Hendy and Ali shared also for the rent. We had everything going smoothly, which is to go to Genting to celebrate Malaysia’s 51st birthday. Somehow, Hendy didn’t make it coz he had Futsal tournament.  At first, I planned to rent a car to go to Avril’s concert, but i changed my mind coz i feel that its much better to celebrate together with my other friends in Genting Highlands.
and so, this is how i spent my weekend. Fida came to my place at night, on Friday (29/8) then we had our dinner together, and Firas arrived the day after, we fetched him at KL Sentral as we were on our way to Genting in the afternoon.

On Friday night, me , Fida, Jarell and Ali went for a midnight movie (Babylon A.D) at Times Square. On our way to the cinema, we saw so many ppl by the roadside of Merdeka Stadium, Avril Concert just ended…So sad i can’t go to watch her LIVE in M’sia, but wat the heck..our movie started at 12.20am and ended around 1.45am. Then, we headed home.  Fida fall asleep in the car, he was tired coz he had classes for the whole day, then rush to my place. We arrived home safely around 2.30am. Well, i just dropped them at Mentari Court then off i went to Asia Cafe to meet up with Hendy but he didnt turn up coz too tired after the futsal match, so i had Teh O Peng while waching SUper Cup Man utd lose…DAMN IT!! After the match, i went home straight away, and that time was already nearly 4am, jump straight to my bed and sleep.

Woke up around 10.30am the next morning and prepare for the Genting Trip. Since Hendy couldn’t make it, we invited 2 lovely girls to join us, Dewi(Indo) and Bo Ra(Korean). So, on our way to pick them and Firas at KL Sentral, we dropped Jarell at Capitol HOtel just behind Sg Wang. THe KL city was so packed with cars as some of the roads were closed for the Merdeka Celebration later in the evening. So, we had to find another way to get to KL sentral and ended up making 3 rounds, back to Jalan Hang TUah and Pudu. LOL!! After 1 hour, we manage to find our way to KL Sentral.  We met up with the girls and Firas and it started to rain heavily.

And there goes, our journey to Genting began. It was like a Malaysian version of Eurotrip minus airplanes, trains and sex. hahaha if you know wat i mean. (giggles)
I decided to use Ampang road then to MRRII. I drove pass TARC and i really miss the time when i studied there 1 year ago. We stopped at Setapak Petronas to get some snacks and drinks for our 1 hour journey to Genting. After that, straight to MRRII highway and kept on driving for more than 1 hour coz of the traffic jam. It was my first time driving to Genting Highlands, it was fun! and tiring too. I would let Fida or Firas drive if they know the road, but anyways, we arrived Genting First World Hotel around 3.30pm and we had to spend half an hour to find an empty car park…DAMN Genting was full of cars.

We went up to the First World Plaza to have our lunch at Burger King then took some pictures and all, the surrounding was quite misty, later in the evening, it rains..just drizzling, we went to the Outdoor Theme Park, it was opened for free after 7pm coz they had this National Day Concert and Aznil was one of the main attraction there..EEWWW!! and we went for Go-Kart racing. Me and Fida started at the back and I manage to get 2nd place…hehhe and Ali won the race.  Then, we went to have our dinner at FIrst World Hotel while waiting for the Firework Display at GEnting Hotel.  So, we played truth or dare till 11.30pm. We did quite a few of stupid stuff at the cafe…which was quite embrassing and fun TOO!!Then, we headed to the Genting Hotel to watch the Firework Display and OMFG…there were SOOO many people standing outside at the carpark and also the entrance of the Hotel Lobby.

The entire place was filled up like with 1000 people..maybe more. We sang negaraku, Jalur Gemilang and Merdeka songs. It was fun though, then the fireworks began, everyone was shouting like crazy, the fireworks were great!! much more better than the one they played during CNY last Feb(Yeah, i went to Genting during CNY, too Hehe).It lasted like around 15 minutes, Ali and Dewi were recording the fireworks display by using their phone.

After that, everyone was heading back to the Hotel, some heading back to KL. We got stuck in the jam on our way back down, and the highway was pitch black…i can barely see the road clearly, they should put on some lightings for safety. Sigh. And the motorists still drive damn fast…i wonder if they still value their own life? Speeding down the hill…it was dangerous.

The journey back to PJ was quite short but it seems like 5 hours drive.  We arrived home safe and sound around 2am and had our late supper at mamak.  Dewi and Bo Ra were sleeping like cute little angels just minutes after we got in to the car from Genting.

The weekend was short, but all of us had lots of fun and really satisfied with the trip and everything. Glad that everone is happy and hope to have more trips to other places soon.Cheers…Thanks, u all!!

Shah Alam

Yesterday evening around 4pm, my friend n i went to Shah Alam to settle some stuff.  We went there after we were done with our kitchen practical (the main course so eww!! the seafood not that fresh…LOL).
So, we went home and changed then took my housemate’s car.  Since we don’t know the way, I was quite lost…instead of driving to SHah Alam town, i drove sraight to the industrial area…i don’t really understand d traffic system here in KL…damn complicated…haha but after few turns n all, we finally manage to reach the destination. It was my first time driving out of KL and…damn…it was hell of a fun.
We cant manage to find d way to Shah Alam town…we made around 4 big rounds and for the last one, we manage to get there, though we did stop and ask for directions.  We were happy that we managed to find the place but then once we settled our stuff, I SERIOUSLY HAVE NO IDEA how to get back to PJ. hahaha!! so, i told my fren, get ready to get lost again, so just in case, we bought some fries to eat in the car while searching for d way back…can’t find a way out from Shah Alam town this time.  We drove around, looking at the sceneries and the huge mosque over there, but unfortunately we din hav enough time to visit it…maybe next time.
And for the last time, we made another big round just to go to the highway, well i realised that there was a shortcut to go to the highway, but what the hell…i’ll remember that next time.  So we just follow the traffic flow…coz that time was already 5pm, so i assume the other drivers will b heading to KL.  as i keep on driving on d highway, i saw the signs saying To Subang and KLIA. Turn Left to Johor. Then, i was like…"oh hell" are we goin to KLIA?? so i was like wat the hell…just continue until we got to one point, there was a sign saying To Bandar Sunway…and i was so damn relieved….and also overexcited, i accidentally released my both hands and clapped…and i realised that im driving on the highway…quickly i grabbed the wheel again n continue to drive along the highway til we got to the Tol Plaza.  We paid around rm2.20 for that then i took another turn to the left which the sign says that the road will lead us to Sunway Resort.  Less than 5 mins drive, again we arrived at another Tol Plaza, had to pay another rm1.60…wtf man…we din even drive through that highway.  But wats important is that we are on the right track back to PJ.
When we arrived home, it was already 6pm. was damn lucky did not stuck in the jam and the day we had…was a great experience, now, i get to know the roads to KLIA and to Klang besides SHah Alam. hahaha!!! sakai sakai!!

Confused

It has been awhile since d last time i updated my blog.
For ur info, now m in d final term of my first year of bachelor degree in taylor’s. time really flies.Through out my 8 months stay here, i’ve gotta admit that everything around me here has changed me, well some in a good way and also in a bad way. some might be unhappy about my new bad habits but im glad that d changes in me give me a new life…and im happy with it.
However, this term has been an unforgetable semester, i shud say.why? becoz i’ve been through a number of incident that i never think i wud happen to me.  anyways, all problem solved, thanks God. don’t wana say much bout it. Besides, i also met quite a few number of new frens…great frens…mostly from pakistan and a few from africa. hahaha well, there’s nothing much to add in here, but actually there’s but i can’t think about it right now and there r so many things going through my mind too.

BDH 29…Semester 1 Ends

Time flies really …and i mean REALLY fast…and i was very busy with all kinds of assignments and assessments for the pass few weeks.  and am glad that my final exam is OVER…today!!!throughout my first semester in Taylor’s, i had so much fun..thanks to all group 1 members…hehe….just 3 months, i’ve met lotsa new frends and i enjoy their company very much…great frens to hav n to b with…namely…renita(baby pinky girl)..belinda(the jagung girl)..cindy(crazy XXX girl)..lippy(half sissy/gay..joking la haha)…ayuni(my fav crazy monkey)…jun(my look alike nani housemate)…yean(my ‘enemy’)…ali(hot guy in my group)…arafa(cool african girl)…hendy(crazy clubber n drinker)..alda(crazy chick)…not forgetting our sleeping bear…SONNY!!!and many others!!!! So nice to meet u all!!!hahahaha *slap* *slap*..lol.
so sorry for not updating my blog (fabian always complain…hahaha) and to fida n firas…come to my place more often ok???we will party harder next time!!!u know wat i mean…haha n to gary…bring more tuak n pop whenever u come to my place.
So…i will be back to kuching soon…29 march 2008 which is on saturday and cant wait to meet up with all my kuching frenssss….u know who u r…rite???hehe….

My chinese new year

nothing much going on during this year of chinese new year. (5th feb) -> my dad came and we met at kl sentral then off to genting highland. we spent 3 days n 2 nights up there. we had buffet every day coz they have d promotion whereby senior citizens get 50% off d original price.  after dinner, my dad n i go to d casino till late nite.  too bad i cant enter monte carlo and highland casino.  i only managed to enter starworld casino.nothing much there but im happy coz i won quite alot..but then during d new year’s eve nite my dad lose all of d money that i’ve won in d previous nite. too bad…sad thing.

on the first day of new year (7/2) we went down to kl and stayed overnight in Crown Princess Hotel until sunday (10/2).  during my stay in kl with my dad, i shop n shop n shop non stop…it was quite fun…coz i miss shopping so much.i did most of my shopping in KLCC(nearest shopping mall around).  the twins joined my dad n i in d hotel on d 9th after they got back from their new year holidays in kuching. we met up in d hotel room then we all went to my place (mentari court) to bring all d stuff i bought back.  after that, i showed them d campus then we went to sunway pyramid by foot.  we walked around d place and watched ppl enjoying their ice skating moment. after that, we had our dinner at Carl’s Jr…d burger is so damn HUGE!!!hahaha after that we took taxi back to Kelana Jaya then from there we use LRT go back to d hotel.  The following day, we packed and go to KL sentral.coz, my dad leaving for kuching, fida will b leaving to UPM and firas leaving to kuantan.  so we had our last meal together at The Chicken Rice Shop.  Soon after d lunch, we went our separate ways.

Around evening, firas sms me wondering if im at home coz he told me that he didn’t manage to get ticket back to kuantan, so he decided to spend another 2 more nites at my place. so around 9pm he arrived then we watched man utd vs man city match together…(damn man utd lose the game!!). after the game, we went home and i had class around 8am d following day..so i went straight to bed. firas was still surfing d net til i duno wat time.

on the next day, fida came and we all gather in d house…haha…at first(sunday) we thought that we won’t b able to meet each other again til next few weeks but…haha miracle…we still can see each other n both of them overnite at my place.  we had so much fun, on d last night out, we went to sunway pyramid to watch One Missed Call…creepy crazy movie.after that we went to starbucks and tapao some hot latte.after that, we walked back home while enjoying d night-sight-seeing at sunway. as we arrived home, we surf d net and chat n at d same time d twins doing their assignments until around 4.30am. luckily for me i dont hav classes on tuesdays.  after done with assignments, we all went to bed and then woke up around 6.30am coz d twins got to go back to their respective Uni.  after they gone, i went back to sleep till 3pm…enjoyed my sleep so much.

thats d end of my chinese new year "adventure"…hahaha truly an enjoyable cny with my dad together with d twins…hope to see u guys soon!!!

Welcome to My NEW Life

Hey guys…im back…well after 6 months didn’t update my blog…nothing much to say here..just that right now I’m at Taylor’s student lounge trying out their high speed internet…kinda bored here during weekends…*wink*

Oh yeah…by the way, i think that some of you guys still don’t know what i am doing currently and where i am…so..let’s start…i’m gonna update about me and what i have been doing and blah blah blah…

First of all, right now I’m doing my Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management in Taylor’s University College in PJS 8/9…do u know where is it?  Well, the campus is located just opposite of Sunway Pyramid. Yeah, there is where i am right now. And there’s a night club just next to the campus or i should say in the campus?haha…yea…no kidding…so guys…wana go clubbing?come to me babeyyy…

And yesterday, i sat for my final and last paper for my diploma in TARC…my previous college…hope that i won’t have to resit for that paper…it was kinda easy just that too much of chemical reaction messed up my mind…damn…tuut tuut….so if i can pass that paper then i will be very very damn fUcking happy…haha..so..i’m gonna pray hard and keep my fingers crossed…

Hmm…what else?what else?oh yeah…students here are nice and so far friendly…met a few of international students and still looking forward to meet more…haha…yea…its nice to mingle around with them coz they are so easy to approach them and chat chat chat…non stop. And i even has one housemate who is an international student from tanzania…africa…

finally…new chapter of my dull life

okay..lets see…let me keep u guys all updated about wat i have been doing recently.for a start, i just moved…AGAIN…to another house…d first apartment dat i live 2 years ago.i rented d same room dat i rented 2 years ago too…haha…how nice is dat??i moved to my new place last monday(25/6/07) with d help of my fren…TTH!!haha…thank him a whole lot!!without him den i duno how to move everything coz if use lorry to carry all my stuff is like kinda waste money coz so expensive n d lorry is so HUGE…and only me..alone move my stuff…on dat day itself, we made 3 trips back n forth from my old place to my new place.its quite near also la…lucky…haha if by car la…so we settled everything by 12 smtg in d afternoon.  after moving everything to d new house, i asked for his help again to bring me to post office to ship all my stuff (books,notes,electrical stuff) to kuching since i no longer studyin TARC/UTAR anymore…i hope dat i can go to TAylor’s College for my degree…hehe but kinda costly…very expensive!!okay..so back to my story, for all d boxes filled with all my stuff costs me around RM50 plus plus just to ship all those stuff back to kuching.after done with dat, we went to nearby cyber cafe to play game game game!!!very very fun!!till evening…around 5pm den he sent me home den i arranged my stuff n my room…it looks sooooo nice…i feel so comfy in my new room….haha…really very excited…felt like very very free n happy…so long i din hav this kind of feelings already…so nice i can b happy happy again…but still not entirely happy la…moving to my new house its like starting a new chapter of my life..hope this time will b filed with more blessings n happines rather than sadness like wat julianna told me d other day…haha so after done with everything, i took my shower n felt so REFRESHED!!..i feel so relaxed coz all d stuff shud b done i have already completed all of dem…i only needed to wait for d day for me to fly back to kuching.my new housemates really make me feel more like home.  they cooked every night n we had dinner together. i really miss those time when we had dinner together, n dat was 2 years back…lol!!

on wednesday afternoon, went to bukit bintang to meet up with d twins(fida n firas) feel so fun can meet up with them.  Fida is going to continue his studies in UPM, Serdang while Firas in Pahang(duno wats d uni name…sorry yea…dude!haha) so we walked around sungei wang n bb plaza for quite a number of rounds oredi..haha…seems like bukit bintang is getting smaller…we bought dvds from jap anime shop..haha it was so fun coz we spent almost 1 hour in dat shop.  after dat we headed for aunty anne’s for a drink den head back to bintang warisan (the hotel d family was staying in).after shower, we had dinner at johnny’s thai steamboat at bb plaza.after dinner, fida, firas n i went to times square to play bowling..dat time was already 9pm.we had 2 games and played 1 more game for free coz d players playing next to us went back earlier n asked us to continue n finish off d remaining throws.n so we had so much fun laughing at each other n made stupid throws with weird stunts…haha…ppl around us kept their eyes on us n laughed together wif us…so it was SO COOOLLL!!after finish d games, we headed back to hotel but on our way out from times square, there’s this bakery called the baker(from norway)..they had like d cheap sale at late nite to get rid all of d left overs of d pastries. the guy was going like rm1..semua rm 1…so wat d hell..we went n bought a few pieces for ourselves n guess wat?we chose d most expensive of them all…hehe…so…after dat we went back to hotel to get my stuff as i wanted to go home but unfortunately there were no more bus so i ended up hang out with dem at starbucks till midnite den head back to hotel n sleep…we even witness some weird guys wearing weird outfits making some commercial recording or something…haha..so dats all for now…i oredi tried my best to make d story short…so have fun reading it..now im in klia heading back to kuching!!!yipeee….see u all soon!!

rain rain go away…come again when im going to sleep

okaaayyy….today is Taylors College Campus day…this morning i went all the way to subang jaya from setapak….haha…its like travelling from 1 end of the world to the other end of the world…haha…such an unforgetful and a nice experience…and met my old secondary fren, GAbriel Chan who is now taking degree in mechanical engineering in Monash University (wonder if calvin really got go there o not? haha)…haha..waited for him for an hour and he’s still d same…haha..never change…since d moment we met in carrefour, we talked non stop, before we go to taylors, we had our brunch at i duno wats d place name oredi…damn…short term memory lost…haha yea d one just opposite taylors pre-u building. after done with our brunch,we entered taylors biomed sci building n we were like duno where to go den went to student service center to ask about d open day thingy, and the receptionist pointed at the building next to another building called THe Web… we went there n saw lots of parents sitting inside with course counsellor. d atmosphere was great, they even served free coffee n tea wif cakes.  gabriel had 2 cups of coffee(when we just arrived and before we left dat place) since he told me that it has been a very long time since d last time he had coffee. then both of us walked around n duno who to ask n soon after that there was a lady came and ask if we need help so she asked a counsellor to talked to us about some courses offered in taylors. we spent around 1 hour there i guess coz we talked more than asking the counsellor…haha den after dat we went for a drink at d same place again for err 1 hour plus den walked back to carrefour. oh yea when we met at d begining he told me he was so broke and only got rm5 in his wallet LOL!!after we had our brunch n drinks, he went completely broke n borrowed rm1 from me for him to go back to his hostel in sunway…haha pity him…a nice day for me…thanks alot to him for willing to meet up…and accompany me to taylors..if not i duno how to go…surprisingly taylors to d subang jaya ktm komuter station is within walking distance…but by looking in the map it looks very far…haha..weird eh? ok, after he went in to d bus, i walked to the station which just behind carrefour n headed home to my condo. as i entered the komuter, the rain started to fall heavily n in my mind…’oh no, not again…’ im getting sick of d rain these few days…so so damn frustrating la haha d moment i arrived at kl sentral, d rain getting heavier…den got no umbrella wif me, no choice, gotta spend 1 hour at mcD n i had LARGE double cheeseburger mcvalue meal while waiting for d rain to slow down.  after i read finish d papers and finished off my meal, i went out n see it still rain, so wtf…i straight go to buy ticket for going back to wangsa maju.  den as i was about to enter d lrt, i saw 1 middle aged blind man walking trying to find his way in to d lrt…he almost knock 2 pillars i think n almost walked down straight to d railway…hehe…lucky there was a good young malay man guided him in to d lrt…i felt so relieved coz there r still many kind hearted creature out there…hahaha…den in d lrt, another young lady offered him her seat…when i saw it make me even more happier n thank god so much for helping the blind man..haha..duno why i feel this way…weird weird!!den when d lrt arrived at wangsa maju station, d blind man got off n find his way out. seeing that there was no one help him, den i offer him a help by guiding him go down d stairs…after helping him, i went in d bus to go back to my condo, its d first time for me helping a physically handicaped person..and it makes me so damn happy n i feel my heart so free…haha…im not showing off ok?just dat wanna say dat helping others can make us feel so happy too n at d same time feel very relieved that d ppl who are physically disabled can reach to their destination safely..now i even considering to take part in voluntary services to help d needy…PEACE DUDE!!!
